Mi práctica artística se centra en la exploración de los roles sociales y las emociones humanas reveladas en las interacciones cotidianas, abordando tanto los aspectos positivos como los negativos de la convivencia. Con mi obra, invito a los espectadores a reflexionar sobre la carga emocional de estos roles y sobre los matices de cada experiencia humana.
Utilizando materiales variados como el chocolate, la madera reciclada y la masa eléctrica, traduzco estas emociones en un lenguaje visual y táctil. Cada material aporta una dimensión simbólica: el chocolate, por ejemplo, evoca la dulzura, la pasión y, a la vez, la vulnerabilidad, mientras que la masa eléctrica y el circuito mecánico transforman el juego y la interacción en un registro de las experiencias compartidas. A través de instalaciones y esculturas de gran carga visual y sensorial, busco activar los espacios y convertirlos en lugares de interacción y diálogo, desafiando la pasividad del espectador en el entorno expositivo.
Para mí, el cuerpo, el hogar y el entorno actúan como metáforas de la fragilidad y la fortaleza inherentes a la condición humana. A través de estas construcciones simbólicas y el uso de elementos interactivos, mi obra no solo invita a la introspección, sino que también crea un espacio donde el espectador puede experimentar el equilibrio inestable de la vida social y emocional. Además, mi interés por la estética relacional se traduce en piezas que son, en última instancia, un medio para explorar y comprender el rol humano en su totalidad, más allá de cualquier categoría de género o creencia.
My artistic practice focuses on exploring social roles and the human emotions revealed in everyday interactions, addressing both the positive and negative aspects of coexistence. Through my work, I invite viewers to reflect on the emotional weight of these roles and the nuances of each human experience.
Using various materials such as chocolate, recycled wood, and electric dough, I translate these emotions into a visual and tactile language. Each material carries a symbolic dimension: chocolate, for instance, evokes sweetness, passion, and at the same time, vulnerability, while electric dough and mechanical circuits transform play and interaction into a record of shared experiences. Through visually and sensorially powerful installations and sculptures, I seek to activate spaces and turn them into places of interaction and dialogue, challenging the passivity of the viewer in the exhibition environment.
For me, the body, the home, and the surroundings act as metaphors for the fragility and strength inherent to the human condition. Through these symbolic constructions and the use of interactive elements, my work not only invites introspection but also creates a space where the viewer can experience the unstable balance of social and emotional life. Besides, my interest in relational aesthetics is translated into pieces that ultimately serve as a means to explore and understand the human role as a whole, beyond any gender or belief category.
